We've talked about the possibility of people using the Internet to harm others, but the Internet can be used to help others also. Each student must add to this page two URLs--complete with the http://www. --of sites for charitable organizations or sites that in some way encourage people to do good. Please include the name of the site and add a link to it in this way:
  1. Once you find the site, copy and paste the URL from the address box of the Internet Explorer browser
  2. Click on the Edit Page link at the top of this page. (NOTE: If the wiki tells you more than 3 people are editing the page, click Cancel and come back later)
  3. Click on the page and type the name of the site that you feel is doing good. (For example: St. Vincent de Paul Society)
  4. Once you have typed the name highlight the name and click ont he globe button with the unbroken chain (the one on the left) above
  5. Click in the round radio button at the bottom next to External Link
  6. RIGHT mouse click in the box next to the http: next to the External Link button and click Paste
  7. Delete the http: part of the URL you have pasted
  8. Click OK
